Beijing is a very dusty city. Leave your car out in the open for a few days and it is covered in a thick layer of dust. Wait a bit longer, especially in spring when dust storms are common, and you get this. This is an otherwise fine Acura TL sedan, painted in black with sporty 5-spoke wheels.

A super speedy Lamborghini Murcielago SV, seen in a car shop near my home in Beijing. The lunatic Lamboo is painted in a flashy shade of orange, with darkened windows, darkened headlights, black wheels and mirrors, and the big ‘Aeropack’ wing.

Earlier on I showed you another Chery QQme, but that was on a car show. This one however is totally real on the road, painted in pink with QQ-themed license plates.
A very nice Nissan Vanette van, seen on a car market in south Beijing. The old VANette (get it??) was a bit dusty and dirty but otherwise in a fine and original shape.

A very clean and very green Peugeot 505 SX sedan, seen at a shopping mall in north Beijing. The old Peug’ was in a good shape, no rust or rot, and original down the wheels, and it still had a period license plate!
