This is a Deepal S05, a Chinese electric crossover. I met the Deepal in a residential area in the far south of the Chinese capital, Beijing. It had been raining the whole afternoon, so the S05 looked a little muddy.

This is the Mazda EZ-6, seen in southern Beijing earlier this summer. The EZ-6 is a new liftback sedan based on Chinese technology. It is a good-looking car, it looks expensive, especially in this classy Flowing Gold color scheme with dark gray alloy wheels.

Here’s a Qiyuan E07, seen earlier this summer in south Beijing. The Qiyuan E07 is an ultra-cool Chinese lifestyle SUV that transforms into a pickup truck. It has a mad design with a super-short hood and a long, stretched-out cabin. The front lights are hidden behind a darkened panel.

Here’s a Changan CX20, seen in the summer of 2023 near Zhangjiakou in China’s Hebei Province. The CX20 was in fine shape. The color is Glitter Pearl White, and it has the original 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Here’s an Avatr 11, a futuristic electric car that looks like a spaceship from the future. I saw this Bright White example in Beijing in the summer of 2024, right after a rainstorm.

This is a Changan Lumin, seen on the parking lot of a Changan dealer in south Beijing. The Lumin is an electric minicar launched in 2022. The Lumin has a cool ‘cute’ rounded design with large lights, white aero wheels, black pillars, and pop-out door handles.
