McLaren 650S 3.8T Coupe Is Pretty In Pink In China

A very pretty McLaren 650S 3.8T Coupe, seen in the Sanlitun area in Beijing in 2022 by Friend of the Site Joachim, thank you for the picture! The good McLaren is wrapped, from head to toe, in a pink wrap, and further sexed up with darkened windows and black alloy wheels. The wrap appears to be of top quality and contrasts nicely with the black bits.

There are Hello Kitty ears on the roof and a bunch of stuffed animals on the dash top, including a panda. And check the hand on the wheel, that’s a little lady driving! No surprise, really, considering the car’s color and details.

The McLaren 650S super car was made from 2014 until 2017. It was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 engine with an output of 650 hp and 678 Nm. The motor was mated to a 7-speed DCT, sending horses to the rear wheels. Top speed is 333 kilometers per hour and 0-100 takes  only three pink seconds. Price in China (2014) started at 3.75 million yuan. A wrap of this quality costs at least another 10.000. Well, if it makes her happy…

Hongqi CA7220E Is Another Audi-based Chinese Sedan

A Hongqi CA7220E sedan, seen in central Beijing in 2011. The good Hongqi was very dusty but in a fine overall shape. It still had the red flag hood ornament and the original 5-spoke sporty wheels.

Cadillac CTS Is Cool In Matte Orange in China

A Cadillac CTS sedan, seen in 2013 in the great city of Shanghai by Friend of the Site San-Ano, thank you for the pictures! The good Cadillac is wrapped in a matte orange wrap and further dressed up with darkened rear windows. The front is full with dust and dirt, as if she had made a long ride earlier on.

A Red Mercedes-Benz W186 300b Limousine In China

A brilliant Mercedes-Benz 300b Limousine, seen in Beijing back in 2013 on the parking lot of my apartment building near Dongzhimen in central Beijing. The big Mercedes was in a fantastic shape, painted in an original red shade, a fitting color for China. The chrome and wheels looked great too.

Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Is A Gigantic American SUV In China

An SUV so big your entire family can sit on the corners of the front bumper; that must be the Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum, and indeed it is. I met this big American land boat at an unofficial Cadillac repair shop in Beijing in 2020.

A second generation Toyota Zelas, seen in north Beijing in December 2019. The good Toyota was a bit dirty, but basically every car is dirty in the Beijing winter, when roads are covered with a dusty kind of snowy mud.

Rolls-Royce Phantom With A Special 京A License Plate In China

A Rolls-Royce Phantom super luxury car, seen in the Lido area in Beijing in 2016. The giant Roller was painted in black with a dark silver grille, a red-orange stripe on the side, and a totally red leather interior.

Note the Element Fresh restaurant in the background. They had a small restaurant chain, hugely popular in the mid- and late 2000’s, with ‘healthy’ sandwiches and such more nonsense. They filed for bankruptcy in late 2021. Too bad for the owners but I won’t miss them for a minute. Gimme pizza!

Bentley Bentayga Is Passion Pink In China

A big Bentley Bentayga SUV, seen on a cold winter’s day in central Beijing earlier this month by Friend of the Site Lao Wei, thank you for the photos! The Bentley is parked in front of a small restaurant, protected by yellow-black traffic cones that are a very common sight at road-side parking lots.
