Cadillac CTS Is Cool In Matte Orange in China

Cadillac CTS

A Cadillac CTS sedan, seen in 2013 in the great city of Shanghai by Friend of the Site San-Ano, thank you for the pictures! The good Cadillac is wrapped in a matte orange wrap and further dressed up with darkened rear windows. The front is full with dust and dirt, as if she had made a long ride earlier on.

The wrap seemed to be of high quality and neatly extends over the bumpers, mirrors, and door handles, just like we like to see it best! Window frames are in black for maximum contrast. The alloy wheels are standard fare.

The first generation Cadillac CTS was produced from 2002 until 2007. It was made in China at the Shanghai-GM joint venture from 2004 until 2007. At the time, the China-made CTS was available with a 209 hp 2.8 V6 or a 258 hp 3.6 V6. Price started at 358.000 yuan.

The CTS was quite popular at the time but strangely these fine sedans are a rare sight on the road today. Where did they all go..?

Some bodywork missing there on the left side of the rear bumper, and the exhaust pipe is hanging too low. She likely hit the pavement! Better be careful, with such a fine orange car…

I always liked how Cadillac integrated a subtle spoiler in the third brake light. The interior is beige brown and in the back covered by a somewhat dirty piece of cloth. License plates are from Jiangsu Province.
