A big Bentley Bentayga SUV, seen on a cold winter’s day in central Beijing earlier this month by Friend of the Site Lao Wei, thank you for the photos! The Bentley is parked in front of a small restaurant, protected by yellow-black traffic cones that are a very common sight at road-side parking lots.
The Bentayga is painted in a color called ‘Passion Pink’ and buyers can only order it via the bespoke Bentley Mulliner program. It is the second Bentayga in this color we have seen so far.
Considering trim and exhaust pipes, this car appears to a a 2016-2018 6.0T model, powered by the mighty 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine with an output of 608 hp and 900 Nm. The motor was mated to an 8-speed automatic, sending horses to all for wheels. Top speed is 301 kilometers per hour and 0-100 takes 4.1 seconds. That, however, comes at a price. The fuel consumption is rated in China at a crazy 12.8 liters per 100 kilometers(!). Price started at a steep 3.98 million yuan in 2016. Lots of money but I bet this big Bentley is worth every fen!
