License plates are of Sichuan Province, some 1800 kilometers by road. That’s like a super market run in a Volvo, is it not?

Here we have a very nice Volvo 960, seen in Beijing back in 2015. The now classic Swedish sedan was dusty and busty, but otherwise in a reasonable shape. The famously pretty wheels looked very fine.

A dark blue Volvo 850 Turbo, seen in the 798 art district in Beijing. The good Volvo was still used as a daily driver, and that is always a great thing. It was in a reasonable shape but in dire need of some love and maintenance.

All red cars look like a Ferrari. Case in point: this Volvo C70 coupe that I saw in Beijing in 2010. The C70 is one of the best-looking cars ever, period. And in red, it is just brilliant.

A Most Beautiful Volvo 121 S Amazon In China
An extremely beautiful Volvo 121 S Amazon four-door sedan, seen in the great city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province in 2016. I met this great Swedish motor in a Volvo dealer owned by the Sanhe Group. This company operates dozens of car dealers in the Chengdu area, and they also have a museum with a PV544 and a large classic-car restoration shop.

Heico Sportiv Volvo C30 Times Two In China
A fiery red Heico Sportiv Volvo C30, seen on a local auto show in Beijing in 2010. It looked absolutely brilliant and there was another one nearby.
The show was in a small sports stadium. Just previously, there had been a travel exhibition at the same venue, and the backdrops were still there! The red C30 stood in front of Greece.

Volvo C70 Coupe Is Brown Beige In China
A beautiful brown beige first-generation Volvo C70 coupe, seen in the south of Beijing. The C70 is probably one of the best-looking cars ever made, with elegant yet masculine lines.
