A Kia Opirus with diplomatic license plates. I met it in the northeast of the Chinese capital Beijing in the autumn of 2014. The Opirus was painted black, like almost all of them were, and fitted with the original 10-spoke wheels.

The Pagani Zonda F is one of the most beautiful Italian supercars ever. I met this rare machine in the FFF Automobile store in the Tuning Tribe area in Beijing in the early autumn of 2014. It looked absolutely stunning.

This is a GMC Suburban, seen in east Beijing in 2018. The Suburban is ultra rare in China so this was my find of the day. It looked absolutely perfect, with shiny chrome and without any rust or busts.

Here we have a Suzuki Wagon R, seen in the Chinese capital Beijing in 2022. The good Suzuki has been modified to the max. It has lowered suspension, sporty wheels, a body kit, a new grille and hood, fog lights, headlight-housing covers, and a roof rack with a roof tent and searchlights.

and This is the Denza X BEV Classic, a rare SUV for the Chinese car market. Production lasted only 3 years. I saw this Nebula Blue example in 2013 in Beijing. The striking alloy wheels with a red center were factory standard.

This is the Beijing EX3 R600, a Chinese electric car. I saw this Cold Blue EX3 in the Chinese capital Beijing in the summer of 2023. It is one of the strangest-looking Chinese EVs I have ever seen.

This little red beauty is a Chery eQ, an early Chinese electric car. I met the eQ in the summer of 2024 in Beijing. It was still in use and looked like it was perfectly maintained. The color name is Passion Red. The five-spoke alloy wheels were factory-optional.

This is the Leap C16, a Chinese electric SUV. I saw this Glazed Green example in southwest Beijing in the summer of 2024. The green color looks great on the C16, combined with darkened headlights and matte gray wheels.

Here we have an Aito M7 SUV, seen in the Chinese capital Beijing in 2024. The color of the M7 is Azure Blue. It has a darkened grille connecting the headlights, with a large secondary six-bar grille in the bumper section.

Here we have an Audi A7L 45 TFSI quattro. I saw it in south Beijing in the summer of 2024. The big Audi is painted in Arctic Black, with darkened windows and aero-style alloy wheels. The A7L is not related to the Audi A7. It is a sports sedan based on the same platform as the also-China-only Audi A6L sedan.
