A beautiful black Hongqi HQ300 sedan, seen in the Dongzhimen area in Beijing in 2013. The good old Red Flag was is superb shape, with smooth paint and shiny chrome, completely original, nothing missing or broken, and not a spat of rust in sight. Note the factory standard red-flag hood ornament.

A very beautiful Hongqi CA7221 L long-wheelbase limousine, seen in front of the building that housed the best hot pot restaurant in the world, in 2005.
Earlier on, this restaurant was located just outside the back gate of my apartment building. Later on, when popular, they moved 200 meters to a new location on the second floor of a new office building, which was where I saw the Hongqi. Here we have two great Audi-based Hongqi’s. I saw them during a very long bicycle ride from the east of Beijing to the west in May 2010. They were parked in front of an office building and they were both in great shape.

This is a fine red electric scooter, seen in Beijing. It is branded ‘Red Flag’, complete with an image of the Hongqi HQ3 above the rear wheel.
A beautiful black Hongqi CA7200E3L, seen in the north of Beijing near a suit shop. I remember it well. My girlfriend wanted to buy me a new suit, because she thought my suits looked totally crap.

A very clean Hongqi Mingshi CA7180A3E, seen in southwest Beijing on a summer’s day. The Red Flag sedan was in a perfect shape; the paint looked as new, chrome as shiny as the sun, and the wheels are period original.
