A fine second generation Toyota RAV4 3-door SUV, seen in the far north of the Chinese capital Beijing. The good Toyota was in great shape, painted in silver with the original racy stickers on the sides. The license plate has a very special sequence, with three 8’s. Eight is a lucky number in China.

A very sweet Volvo S70 T5 sedan, seen in the rain on the road in Beijing. The Swedish sled seemed in good shape, painted in a light shade of silver, standing on the standard silver gray sporty five-spoke wheels.
This is the Jeep 2500, a China-only variant of the Jeep Cherokee XJ. The XJ was made in China by Beijing-Jeep from 1984 until 2009. Over the years the joint venture literally made hundreds of variants.
This is a Fiat Linea, a compact sedan based on the Fiat Grande Punto. I found this dark blue example near the Goldenport race track in Beijing. The Linea was manufactured from 2007 until 2017.
This little red racer is a first generation Hyundai Coupe, seen on a car market in China. The sporty Korean was in a good shape, and completely original down to the wheels.

This is a second generation Toyota 4Runner, seen on a small second hand car market in east Beijing. The 4Runner was sadly in a rather bad shape, but the owner of a nearby shop told me it was still running.

A mellow yellow Geely Meirenbao, seen late at day in Beijing. The sporty Gee’ was in a good shape inside and out, and still standing on its original wheels. It is rare to see a near-standard Meirenbao, as many were modified.
