Xiaomi SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series Is A Special EV

Here’s a Xiaomi SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series, seen at a car market in east Beijing earlier this summer. The Xiaomi SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series is a special edition of the SU7 sedan to celebrate the 15th birthday of Xiaomi Corporation, the parent company of Xiaomi Auto.

About the Xiaomi SU7

Xiaomi SU7

The Xiaomi SU7 has been the wildest success story in the Chinese car market ever. Xiaomi is originally one of China’s largest consumer goods manufacturers. It makes everything from smartphones to washing machines.

In 2021, Xiaomi decided to make cars and founded a new subsidiary called Xiaomi Automobile (小米汽车). Within 3 years, Xiaomi Automobile built a factory and a dealer network, and developed its first car, the Xiaomi SU7. A few months later, Xiaomi got into the Top 20 brand sales in China, just with the SU7. Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched its second model, the YU7 SUV.

The Xiaomi SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series celebrates the 15th anniversary of Xiaomi Corporation, which was founded in 2010 in Beijing. Xiaomi was, and is, one of China’s coolest brands, and that helped a lot when the company entered the car market. It had instant brand recognition and was instantly popular. Xiaomi sells cars in China via experience stores, via a dealer network, and online.

Xiaomi launched the SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series in January 2025. It has an exclusive color called “Bright Magenta”, which covers the entire car. It also comes with special “rice-shaped” 8-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels, in Bright Magenta/Black.

The Bright Magenta color looks great on the SU7. It was the first pink-ish color that Xiaomi offered on the electric sedan. Many other Chinese car brands offer various shades of pink as standard.

The interior had a special touch too: Bright Magenta stitching over a black-leather dashboard and seats. Special, for sure, but not as eye-catching as the exterior. Fuzzily, the tissue pack has almost a matching color.

The SU7 15th Anniversary Limited Series costs 9000 yuan ($1233) extra over the base price of the SU7. It was available on all the SU7 variants. The car in the photos is the base “SU7 Standard Rear-wheel Drive Long Range” model.

It has 220 kW (299 hp) and 400 Nm, good for a 210 km/h top speed and a 0-100 in 5.28 seconds. The battery is a 73.6 kWh LFP unit, with an electricity consumption of 12.3 kWh per 100 km. The CLTC range is 700 kilometers. Charging from 10-80% (400V) takes 25 minutes.

Pricing

All in all, the SU7 Standard Rear-wheel Drive Long Range 15th Anniversary Limited Series sold for 216.900 yuan or $30.4K. Whether it will become a collector’s item is uncertain, as Xiaomi never disclosed the number of Anniversary Limited Series cars it built. But no matter all that, it sure was a great-looking machine by a super young company that, one day, will take over the entire world.
