The Citroen C4 Aircross is based on the car Europeans know as the Citroen C3 Aircross, but with an extended wheelbase for the Chinese car market, and manufactured by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture.

Wheelbase has been extended with 11.5 centimeters, which is a lot for a car of this size. Wheelbase is 2655 and length is 4270. C3 Aircross for comparison: 2540 and 4150.

The best way for seeing the extension is by checking the rear window, which is much longer than on the C3 Aircross.

The longer wheelbase translates to a lot of extra space for the legs. The interior looks great in any way, with all that orange and lots of fine detailing. Look for example at the door handles and the armrests, Citroen put a lot of work in those.

Shape of the vents comes back on the seats and on the air cushions on the sides. I love the orange steering wheel. French madness at its best!

The Citroen C4 Aircross launched on the Chinese auto market earlier this year. Price starts at 109.800 and ends at 159.800 yuan. Engines: 136 hp 1.2 turbo, and a 167 hp 1.6 turbo (pictured).

When wheels look like deadly weapons.

350 THP stands for the 1.6 turbo. The 1.2 turbo is called 230 THP.
