A very cool Cadillac CT6 40T, seen on the streets of northeast Beijing, capital of China. The big Caddy is wrapped in a very special wrap, changing color depending on light and distance.

The base color is blue, with purple as the secondary color. On the images you can see the purple best on the bonnet and on the rear, but it was like this all over the car. Standard matte gray wheels match nicely with wrap.

The B·91CT6 license plates are from nearby Hebei province. The Cadillac CT6 is made in China by SAIC-GM. This is a pre-facelift model. In China, the 40T designation stands for the twin-turbo 3.0 liter V6, good for an output of 405 hp and 543 Nm, and that made it one of the most powerful China-made cars ever. In 2018, price started at 599.900 yuan.

Every car has its club in China, even for cars that don’t seem so club-ish, like the Nissan Tiida, the Chery Tiggo, or the Cadillac CT6. These clubs are loosely organized without much input by the manufacturer. The clubs are very active, organizing all sorts of events and rallies.

They often operate large websites where owners can find anything on their car. Ranging from tips about how to change a windshield wiper to tips about tuning. Clubs can be highly critical to the manufacturer too. Especially in times of recalls, and when it is about service and prices for parts.

In any way, they sure exchange ideas about wrapping too, and the owner of this CT6 did a great wrapping job.
