Volvo S70 T5 In The Rain In China

A very sweet Volvo S70 T5 sedan, seen in the rain on the road in Beijing. The Swedish sedan seemed in good shape, painted in a light shade of silver, standing on the standard silver gray sporty five-spoke wheels.

The spoiler was also standard on the T5 model.

The Volvo S70 was made from 1996 to 2000. The T5 model was powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter five-cylinder petrol engine, good for 240 hp and 330 Nm. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, sending horsepower to the front wheels.

The Volvo S70 was officially sold in China, but only in 2.3 T5 form. Sales were slow, as it was very expensive and because Volvo didn’t have many dealers in China at the time. The price was 620.000 yuan in 1998, and that is just massively much. But how else could you get a silver Swedish sports sedan in China in those days..?
