A beautiful black Hongqi HQ300 sedan, seen in the Dongzhimen area in Beijing in 2013. The good old Red Flag was is superb shape, with smooth paint and shiny chrome, completely original, nothing missing or broken, and not a spat of rust in sight. Note the factory standard red-flag hood ornament.

A white Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road in Beijing, looking every inch as giant as it is. The vehicle looked brand new, with super cool typical Toyota decals on the sides and license plates from Jilin Province.

A very nice second-generation (XA20) Toyota RAV4 SUV, seen at night in east Beijing. The good Toyota looked great and had those incredible cool decals on the sides.
Here we have a fine S120 Toyota Crown sedan, seen in central Beijing, capital of China. The good Crown was painted in a light beige shade, and was in a reasonable overall shape.
A beautiful light blue Toyota Celica, seen parked on the pavement in the Sanlitun District in Beijing, with a fine on the passenger-side window. The good Ce’ was in a fine condition, but in need of some work and love.

A wine red Toyota Previa, seen at a car inspection site in east Beijing. The pretty Previa was in a pretty good shape, and likely the best I have ever seen in country.
A somewhat sad fifth generation Toyota Celica liftback, seen on a car market in south Beijing. The poor car was covered in a thick layer of dust and dirt, but seemed otherwise perfectly salvageable.

A fine second generation Toyota RAV4 3-door SUV, seen in the far north of the Chinese capital Beijing. The good Toyota was in great shape, painted in silver with the original racy stickers on the sides. The license plate has a very special sequence, with three 8’s. Eight is a lucky number in China.

This is a second generation Toyota 4Runner, seen on a small second hand car market in east Beijing. The 4Runner was sadly in a rather bad shape, but the owner of a nearby shop told me it was still running.
