Zeekr 007 GT

Here’s a Zeekr 007 GT, seen in central Beijing. The 007 GT is one of many new Chinese electric station wagons. It packs 422 hp on the rear wheels, and it has a 650-kilometer range.

About Zeekr

Zeekr is a luxury-middle-class NEV brand. The Chinese name is 极氪, Jí kè. The Geely Group is Zeekr’s owner. Geely founded Zeekr in 2021 to compete with brands like NIO and Tesla. Zeekr is headquartered in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The first Zeekr to hit the Chinese car market was the 001.  Sales are pretty good. In September 2025, Zeekr sold 15.679 cars. That was good for the 35th spot in China’s passenger car sales rankings, just below ArcFox and just above Tank.

The Zeekr 007 GT

Zeekr 007 GT

The Zeekr 007 GT is a full-electric station wagon based on the Zeekr 007 sedan. In Chinese, Zeekr calls it 科技猎装轿跑, best translated as “Tech Shooting Brake Coupe”. Wagons are quite popular in China right now, with recent new models from brands like NIO, Neta, BYD, and Stelato. These are lifestyle vehicles, aimed at young folks going camping the the weekends.

Zeekr 007 GT

The Zeekr 007 GT is a beautiful wagon; it looks even better than the sedan, like it was born this way! It has wide fenders, extra-wide hips, and a complex rear design.

There are shark-fin d-pilaars, a twin spoiler above the narrow window, and a huge ducktail spoiler with integrated rear lights below the window. A lot is going on, but it works. It has a 645-liter trunk, or 1737 liters with the rear seats folded down. The frunk adds an extra 53 liters.

The interior of the Zeekr 007 GT

The luxurious interior remains unchanged from the sedan. The Nappa leather heated and ventilated seats look great. The owner added a neck pillow — a common accessory in China. There’s also a mini cowboy hat covering the dashboard speaker, and a piece of paper tucked into one of the air vents.

Zeekr loaded the dashboard with tech — where to start? There’s a 13.02-inch instrument panel, a 35.5-inch HUD, and a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen. The shifter sits on the steering column. The steering wheel is a thick, large-diameter, three-spoke sports wheel with a flat bottom. The storage shelf behind the steering wheel is a popular option. It also has two 50W wireless phone chargers. Strangely, however, the cup holders are located low in the center tunnel, between tall, angled bars. It isn’t easy to get your coffee out of there!

The Zeekr 007 GT is a long-wheelbase electric car, so it has a load of leg room. The dimensions are: 4864/1900/1460, 2925. The 007 GT is also equipped with a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system with 2160W. Sound systems are a new battleground for Chinese car makers. Many new luxury models have >20 speakers and >2000 W. Some cars have up to 30 speakers and 2500 W. I bet we’ll see the first cars with 3000 W within a year.

ADAS

Zeekr has fitted the 007 GT “ZEEKR AD”, a high-tech L2 ADAS. It packs 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and a lidar. Two Nvidia Drive Orin chips with a combined 508 TOPS take care of the calculations.

The Zeekr 007 GT RWD Intelligent Drive costs 202.900 yuan ($28.5K). That’s a very good deal for such a pretty car with so much power and space. Consumers can also go for a long-range RWD model with a 100 kWh battery for $31K, or for a long-range AWD model with 646 hp for $35K. At the moment, the Zeekr 007 GT is only marketed in China, but Zeekr has plans to export the pretty wagon to Europe, starting in 2026.
