The Audi Q7 was further sexed up with black five-spoke alloy wheels, red brake calipers, and slightly darkened windows. In the 2010s, pink wraps were ultra popular in China. Repair shops and even dealers offered pink wraps in all kinds of shininess and quality. The Audi’s wrap was shiny enough but of mediocre quality, with some damage to the rear bumper.
The wrapping work, however, was nicely done. The wrappers applied the wrap over almost the entire car, with the door handles and rear spoiler included. Only the chrome strips around the side windows and the roof rails were left unwrapped.
Audi officially sold the Q7 in China as an import. The pink car in the photos is a late-first-generation Audi Q7 35 TFSI Quattro. It had a 3.0 V6 turbo under the hood with 272 hp and 400 Nm. The gearbox was an 8-speed AMT. The top speed was 222 km/h, and 0-100 took 7.9 seconds. The price in China in 2014 was a steep 827.000 yuan. A wrap of this quality cost around 15.000 yuan at the time.
